Let the Bones Dance: Embodiment and the Body of Christ (Emerging Theology Initiative) ReviewThis was perhaps the most interesting book I've read all year..Shoop tackles three different areas, rape, pregnancy, and motherhood and then develops each one in terms of tragic bodies, relational bodies, and ambiguous bodies.
She then talks about how each of those embodiments encourage compassion, interdependence,and adventure.
As a man I felt a bit uncomfortable at times reading LET THE BONES DANCE, but the author's call to involve our bodies in all of worship is a welcome one, and certainly a needed one.
