The Angel Code: Your Interactive Guide to Angelic Communication ReviewAfter gleefully devouring the information in Lysette's first published book (Azrael Loves Chocolate) I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into her second masterpiece that delved further into establishing deep and meaningful connections with the Archangels. Lysette does not disappoint. Her same delightful, thoughtful, and sassy style come across in this book as she provides more of a "how to" instructional manual on connecting and effectively communicating with Heaven's finest helpers. For individuals like myself, communicating has often been a one-way street, and with Lysette's instruction the reader learns to pick up on the subtle aspects of angelic communication so that the communication soon becomes the two-way road it was always meant to be.
Make no mistake. This is a workbook...emphasis on the work. There are many meditation exercises, all of which are designed to 1) help the reader determine which perceptive sense is strongest for them (clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, etc) and 2) to aid the reader in strengthening not only the sense they are strongest at, but also to develop and hone their skills in the other sensory fields. However, the author takes you further in the art of meditation in ways that can potentially lead to greater self-discovery. I would recommend her chakra "room" walkthrough meditation for anyone studying chakras, spiritual healing, or basic meditation as her walkthrough provides insight into aspects of the reader's own spirit. Even veteran meditators can discover something new and fascinating about themselves during this activity.
Lysette introduces a few new Archangels that were not mentioned in her first book: Ariel, Haniel, Raziel, and Zadkiel. Of course, she includes all of our old friends from Azrael Loves Chocolate, as well. The profiles of the original 12 Archangels, however, are not a carbon copy of the information from the first book. She expands on certain "profile" details for each angel, and also includes a section on "Connecting" with each of the Archangels. This particular section enlightens the reader on what to expect with each sensory aspect from how the Archangel often appears to the author, how others have observed that angel, how he or she typically sounds and speech mannerisms, how each angel "feels" to clairsentients as far as energy signatures (warm, cool, calm, etc), and how the angels may communicate through dreams as well.
Chantel Lysette continues to inspire me with her insightful presentations, and she remains a breath of fresh air in a genre that at times takes itself far too seriously. Lysette reminds us that though the Archangels are Heavenly spirits that deserve our respect and appreciation, they aren't just a bunch of marble statue-like entities that lack flavor and personality. She is also down to earth in her approach and reminds each of us that we don't need oracle cards, fortune tellers, or pendulums to interact with our heavenly helpers...each of us already has everything we need built into our spiritual memory, and we need only to remember how to use it.The Angel Code: Your Interactive Guide to Angelic Communication Overview
