HOWEVER, in order for beginners with little to no previous experience to truly understand any of the drawing steps after the third or so, you pretty much need to buy the other books in the series (as advertised on the inside jacket) because they use techniques or skills that, should you not understand them, will leave you just as confused as before.Now for those with previous experience, depending on your degree of skill and what techniques or art-terms you know, this could in fact be a fun book to learn from. But the fact that it gives the appearance of a beginner's book takes away from this fact.
