Bullyproof Your Child: An Expert's Advice on Teaching Children to Defend Themselves ReviewThis book has the right idea on dealing with Bullies on a mental level, dealing with bullies correctly without escalating into violence and fighting. Using verbal persuasion, getting School staff involved and parents involved. Also what to do if your child is the bully.
However, Nearly all the self-defense tactics in this book, I would not use.
There are a few really good ones, such as the mount defense and some of the ground fighting.
For you parents...
I would recommend this book as well as buying a Mixed Martial Arts book, such as "Mixed Martial Arts" by BJ Penn, "Wrestling for Fighting" Randy Couture, or "Judo for Mixed Martial Arts" by Karo Pariysan.
