The Hearsay Rule ReviewI used this book last year in my Evidence class and it was very useful in learning the hearsay exceptions. The book includes "foundational elements" for every exception, so it makes it very easy to analyze any hearsay issue.
The book also includes some unique approaches to hearsay---including how to use an expert witness to get into evidence a hearsay statement that is otherwise inadmissible; and how to use the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and Criminal Procedure to get into evidence hearsay statements that are otherwise inadmissible.
This book was a huge reason for my success in my Evidence class last year. I definitely recommend it to other students.The Hearsay Rule Overview
