Fodor's Hawaii 2006 (Fodor's Gold Guides) ReviewWe visited Maui this year and Kaui. Fodor's is a nice fat book and gave us a wonderful overview of what we were about to see. The thing they do best is list the hotels with an annotated blurb and their review proved right every time. We borrowed two books from my sister who goes over there regularly, the Maui Trailblazer and Kauai Trailblazer which listed all the places to hike and snorkel. The Kalalau trail was righteous, our kids even made it 2 miles into the first beach and are proud of it.
